First go to add remove programs and make sure it is uninstalled and not there and restart PC. Then I stick the office disc in and let at start to load and cancel the installation... I click on my computer and then click on the local disc C: Drive and create a new folder and call it office2007files and click on the folder to open it and fit it to half of my screen. I then open my computer and on the CD Drive that the disc is in, I right click and drop my mouse down and choose Explore that will open a new window. I then select all the files in the right side of the window that opened which of course is all the install files for office and I copy them to the folder that you created on the root of the C: drive. then after that is done turn off antivirus and firewall during the install to avoid any conflicts and problems. Then take out the office install disc from

I had Office 2007 installed and removed it like the 2010 installer asked. And now when I https://forums.techguy.org/threads/solved-office-2007-installation-error.900216/ try to install it, I get the following error: "Setup cannot find office.en-us\officemui.msi. Browse to a valid installation source, and then click OK." I point it to the proper location and it says it's an invalid location. I am trying to install it on a Windows 7 system. Second, restart your computer, then try to re-install the Office 2007 again.I hope this procedure works.-mrsolution Posted on Jun 11, 2008 Helpful 0 Not Helpful Flag You can't post conmments that contain an email address. × Comment Anonymously Video Images Melody 269 Answers SOURCE: i ms office 2010 setup problem when it setup is upgrading from a pre release version of Microsoft Office 2010.
