SP3 and Windows XP Pro with SP2. I recently upgraded to office 2007. I was facing performance issue with it so I uninstalled it and re-installed 2003 again. Since then I am getting this error. Troubleshooting done - Needless to say repair and reinstall did not help. Tried "regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\ole32.dll" - no what is ole registration go Tried following: 1) Send/Receive pull down menu 2) Send/Receive settings 3) Uncheck make this folder available offline I do not have "Make this folder available offline" under Send/receive settings. Any Suggestions? If there is any misunderstanding, please feel free to correct me. According to my research, the issue may cause by a cached profile of Previous Outlook 2007, you probably not re-create a new profile after reinstalling Office 2003. The program is not correctly installed. Run setup again for the program. I personally received this error message when selecting the Send/Receive button. To try to fix this problem, perform the following steps. Close Outlook. Hold down the Windows Key and press ole registration "R" to bring up the Windows Run dialog box. Type "regsvr32 ole32.dll" and select "OK". In some cases, you may need to type "regsvr32 %windir%\system32\ole32.dll". You should get a response that says the registration succeeded. Select "OK" and try Outlook again. If the error message still appears, try the following: Note: You may lose some data or settings. Close Outlook.
