If that does not work, I would connect the printer up directly to make sure it still works. Bill (AF

Report • #2 Fingers November 30, 2011 at 20:36:24 Do a system restore to a date when everything worked normally (a week back or a month back probably will do). This will usually work even when starting services does not work to restart print spooler. If system restore that is built in is not able to complete (corrupted system files are extensive) then use a Windows 7 repair disk and do the system restore from the repair disk. A system repair disk should have been made by you when the system was new, but can still be made from any working Windows 7 system that is of the same type (32bit or 64bit) and used.I discovered this after many attempts to repair a computer that had a problem with its print spooler not starting and other methods did not work, including the internal system restore and a step by step from Microsoft on restarting the print spooler. I was 5 minutes from a complete reinstall. You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
