Spooler to fail and stop. When I restart the print spooler, it will not work, instead, it needs to be manually stopped and then re-started after clearing the temp files from the Windows>system32>spool>Printers folder. Other applications can print such as Outlook, Word, Excel, etc, but when printing PDFs the spooler crashes like this. I can print other docs just fine. When the https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/380506-pc-won-t-print-pdf-files print button is selected, I never receive the message that it's gone to the printer - it just does nothing. I get the "now printing" message with all other docs sent to the printer. Using Adobe version 10.?.1 (can't remember that middle # - 8?). I've already ran a "check for updates" and ran the update that it downloaded. Still doesn't work. I've checked the Event Log - nothing there. I've tried sending the PDF's to other printers with no luck either. These jobs never print spooler make it to the print queue. Currently there are no print jobs at any of the printers although I've sent several. Any thoughts? Thanks!!
