I have managed to find the media server on my PS3 and am able to browse the music/video files. But it won't let me play anything. When i try to play music, it shows the purple screen (as if its trying to play it) but after a while i get an error saying: "Media Server Error: A network error has occurred. (8001000B)" When i try playing videos i just get a blank screen. Can anyone suggest anything?? I just want to stream from my NAS - NOT the PC (for obvious reason). I cannot open my NAS because of DLNA protocol 2114 failure?!?!?! Is there a way to fix this and why is this problem occuring? I know that I might not be able to open all files from my NAS, because of unsupported data. And all this Media Streaming software cannot be used on a NAS???
