You can logon successfully using alias, while can’t logon successfully by user name. Maybe it is the cause that Sukh said. But with another user, i do not need to use domain name. I can login only username and password. like user1@domain.com and pass login is succes but for another user , only user name is enought without @domain name another user user2 and pass login is succes.Networker Wednesday, January 25, 2012 8:35 PM Reply | Quote 0 Sign in to vote Yes matching

I've set the LoginType to PlainTextLogin but when I telnet to ther server from an external http://forums.msexchange.org/POP3_-_Protocol_error%25_19/m_1800442590/tm.htm IP, I get an error after entering Login: -ERR Protocol error. 19 I cannot seem to fund much documentation on what this error means. POP3 works fine internally. We have configured ISA 2004 rule to point port 110 to the exchange 2007 server. Below is the return from the get-POPSettings cmdlet. I believe it's related to a certain character type in the password. Can you try using an alpha-numberic only password and try again? Or modifying the Authentication to not utilize Plain Text and try again? I'll try to get some more information on this bug.MVP | MCSE:M | MCITP: Enterprise Messaging Administrator | MCTS: OCS + Voice Specialization | http://www.shudnow.net Free Windows Admin Tool Kit Click here and download it now October 3rd, 2009 4:12am hi We have succesfully configured pop clients with exchange server 2007.We have incoming server we have load balancing cas server and at outgoing we have hub transport server .check you authentication .Option 1: We have also configured a mapi pop client by which we create a mapi client and configured a another pst and set pst a default path fro the email , for that all emails are directly land to personal folder and you got your
