That's Dax's way of telling you, that you are trying to do something silly. You don't want 5.03, hen or anything related to it. You can install a full custom firmware. Here's how to get http://forums.dashhacks.com/psp-help/260172-dadadada-error-code.html up to date: First, go to recovery mode by holding the power button untill your psp full powers off. Hold the R trigger while turning it on. At the recovery mode, go to configuration and set the homebrew folder kernal to 3.30 (not 1.50) Hellcats recovery reflasher here: http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/1736 and the needed 500.pbp to go along with it here: http://exophase.com/files/psp/500.PBP With the first file, open it to find a folder called RECOVERY (ignore everything else). copy that folder to X:\PSP\GAME folder. With the second file 500.pbp - copy it directly to your memstick X:\ At the end, you will have X:\500.pbp and X:\PSP\GAME\RECOVERY folder. After this is done, go to the Game tab/memstick to find and run Hellcat's Reflasher) Hit ok to agree to the warnings (if you do agree) and at hellcat's main menu: Select the option install cfw of the firmware listed above. It will ask if you want to restore settings. Select to reset them. Sit back as 5.00 m33 v6 gets installed. After that's done, you can go to the the most recent custom firmware: 5.50 gen d3 http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/1873 - download it, open it and copy over the 550.pbp and PSP folder directly to memstick. If prompted to overwrite, say yes. With that done, go to the game tab, then memstick to find and run the 5.50 gen d3 installer. Load it and enter the installer. From it'

I downloaded it it to my memory card psp error codes and when I click on the icon, the error says that "DADADADA, The game could not be started."I don't have any UMDs inside the PSP, the WLAN switch is on, I tried another method of updating by using my PC.Nothing seems to work. My battery is at 100%, charging with the AC adaptor.I know my PSP is old (it doesn't even have the Playstation Store yet) and I recently started using it again.Any ways to troubleshoot this? ------------------- quote quick quote AdvertisementNeoseeker^Sponsored Links Log in or register to remove this advertisement Ville_Valo Welcome to the Blood MachinePermanently Plugged In neopoints: 58since: Dec 2005 Nov 29, 09 at 8:37pm ^ re: PSP error: DADADADA ...It really says DADADADA?You're a bit confused. For one thing, you can't just downgrade to a custom firmware, you need to do certain things. Sony blocks downgrading, so you've got to hack your PSP a bit to get it out of the firmware it's on.For another, saying your PSP is so old it doesn't have the Playstation Store doesn't really make sense, as having the Store is based on the firmware it has. You may even have to go to 1.50 (nooooo ) and back up to 3.52M33>3.71 Etc Etc. It's been a long time sinced i have seen that error code!! What firmware is your psp currently running as 80020148 means unknown or unsupported Prx type which can mean a few things in differing circumstances. Might mean your UMD mode is not set to the M33 driver or the np9660, it could mean you have a fake memory stick running a ISO/CSO slicer4ever;209383 said: So your options: 2. Then click the information you see at the bottom of the information of the memory stick If the info is unknown the memory stick is fake,if supported its original one. This will tell you if its a fake memory stick . Twitter XboxOne - Adddidis XsavioR, Oct 2, 2008 XsavioR, Oct 2, 2008 #3 (You must log in or sign up to reply here.)
