I came across a 1980 quarter that appears to have an error on the reverse, in the word quarter there appears to have been a string1994 P Quarter Error

The coin is one of a few proof quarters that were printed over 1941 Canadian quarters, according to KTTV. With a magnifying glass, the "1941" from the Canadian coin can be seen just above the word "dollar" on one side of the coin. Rare coin collector Mike Byers Inc. said on its website that the coin, which is being offered for $35,000, came from a collection that was auctioned by the State of California. "There is a significant amount of detail on both sides showing the design of the Canadian quarter," the Mike Byers website states. "This is one of the most fascinating and intriguing proof mint errors ever discovered." The Mike Byers website says that it's "very unusual" to find coins with major proof errors because of "extreme quality control." "A few broadstrikes, off-centers, double strikes in collars and off-metals have been known to be found in sealed proof sets," according to the website. "Proof errors are aggressively sought after by many error collectors." Myth-busting website Snopes.com wrote that, while the coin was never in circulation, a third-party coin certification company claims it is real. "While Byers has a long history of buying and selling mint error coins, many appeared skeptical about this eBay listing, largely because there seems to be no practical reason that a 1970 United States quarter would be minted in the same place as a 1941 Canada quarter," the site noted.
