I am trying to reinstall QuickBooks 2009 Not for Profit software. I have been researching and working on this for hours and I keep getting the same error 1304 error quickbooks install writing to file "intuit.QuickBooks.fcs.exe. When I press "retry" I get error 2350 server error, then finally error 1334 intuit QuickBooks fcs exe can not be installed. QuickBooks worked fine on the computer before the recovery process. Since my computer is fairly old (2002ish), I reinstalled all the Microsoft XP updates, up to and including Service Pack 3. The suggestion was also made on a thread to update the windows installer. I tried to do that, but the program told me that it was unnecessary to do so since I installed service pack 3. Also, when I being the QuickBooks InstallShield Wizard, I get a message from the overwrite protection indicating that "the following file is already on your computer: c:\Docume~1\HP_Admn~1.XX\LOCALS~1\Temp\Premier\QBooks\)x0409.ini Do you wish to overwrite this file. A series of files will come up if I say "no" so I have been saying "yes to all" Could this be the problem? I've spent every spare moment trying to unravel this puzzle and I could use a (smart) friend right no
