I reverted back to IE8, thinking that would be the fix. However, it did nothing. Evidently there is a damaged system file. The script error I receive when trying to print in AOL Browser is: res://ieframe.dll/previews.js http://www.computing.net/answers/windows-7/script-error-when-printing-in-aol/7277.html I can print in IE and Firefox browsers, but not AOL's browser. I have done the system file scan and gave me print out, so I assume all files were OK. I have scanned for virus, done registry cleanups, etc. Nothing helps. I have reloaded Java, IE, AOL, Shockwave, Flashplayer and I give up. Any ideas out there? Thomas Kilborn wrote at 2008-11-15 14:41:50 I have also had this problem. While I have not come up script error with a resolution, an easy fix that works for me is, Instead of using the PRINT command, Click on FILE in the upper left corner, and then select PRINT PREVIEW from the drop down list. You can print from there without any script error when problem. The real problem is that AOL offers NO SUPPORT unless of course you want to PAY for it. Going to File -> Print in Internet Explorer isn't going to work. Web pages are not simple text. They're programs. You have to use the print function, if any, provided by AOL. DoubleHelix, Jul 15, 2012 #2 Aandfarkas Thread Starter Joined: Jul 15, 2012 Messages: 4 Thanks for responding, perhaps I didn't make myself clear. I am talking about e-mails from people not websites, and I am using the print icon next to the e-mails by AOL. By the way I can print the e-mails very well on an epson C88 connected with cable to my desktop, and actually the laptop can print on this printer as well, It is the Dell V305w which can't print aol mail. Thanks! Andrew F Aandfarkas, Jul 16, 2012 #3 DoubleHelix Banned Joined: Dec 9, 2004 Messages: 24,388 An e-mail is an e-mail is an e-mail. It doesn't matter who sent it. I'm asking if you're clicking on a specific button or link in the AOL e-mail web interface to print these messages. Now you're mentioning other computers and/or printers that work just fine. Be specific. Is this problem just with one specific computer? Is it just this one specific computer that cannot print to one specific printer? Other computers can print the e-mails to the same printer? This computer can print e-mails to other printers? When you start talking about other equipment, you need to be very clear what combinations of hardware and software work and which don't. The brief error message you posted seems to indicate you're trying to print e-mail messages from your AOL account in Internet Explore
