"View certificates" link at the bottom. Windows will then show this certificate information screen: Click the "Install Certificate" button in order to proceed. Note: if you are running Windows Vista, this button may be disabled. That's because you are not running Internet Explorer in "Administrative mode". Close your Internet Explorer and restart it by right-clicking your Internet Explorer icon and selecting "Run continue to this website (not recommended) missing as Administrator". Then repeat the previous steps up to here and continue by clicking on the "Install Certificate" button. That brings up the certificate import wizard: Click next to continue. Again, if you are running Windows Vista, make sure to select the radio button next to "Place all certificates in the following store" and click browse Select the Trusted Root Certification Authorities and click ok (this screen looks a little different in Windows XP, but you'll have to select the Trusted Root Certification Authorities just as well) After clicking the ok button, you'll see this security warning: Confirm that you want to install the certificate. Windows will show you a message that the installation was successful and you need to restart your browser for the changes to take effect. will not apply to kawc96 Self-Signed Security Certificate Error (warning) for Web Browsers IE11 and higher Security Certificate errors in IE11 now break in two ways: One instance will be presented with a "Continue to site" link while others will not If you are are presented http://www.bellics.com/public/security_certificate_warning.html with "continue to link site" then click on it. You will now see a RED SHIELD but you will not be allowed to import the certificate (by clicking on the RED SHEILD) until you first add the site's URL to the "trusted site panel" like so: click menu: Tools click item: Internet Options click tab: Security click icon: Trusted Sites click button: Sites type into the text box: https://kawc96.on.bell.ca click button: add click button: close security certificate procedure: shutdown then restart your browser (necessary to empty some cached data) procedure: surf back to https://kawc96.on.bell.ca click icon: RED SHIELD click link: view certificates click button: install certificate click button: next select: radio-button: place all certificates in the following store click button: browse select: Trusted Root Cerification Authorities click button: Next click button: Finish click button: Yes procedure: shutdown then restart your browser (necessary to load the certifcate intp cache) Caveat: ICSIS does a lot the security certificate of AJAX-based transfers behind the scenes. Failure to "shutdown then restart" means your AJAX transfers will probably fail If you are still not allowed to continue to the site (now happens with newly evergreened PCs) then you must first download this certificate to the desktop of your PC then install in the "Trusted Root Certification Authority"
Note that you may be presented with a dialog box offering you to either open or save the file. If you do you may click Open and skip the next step.
