I was just going to straighttalk.com, which is a pretty big wireless provider here. I thought it a bit strange but just chose to go anyway, and ignored it. It didn't happen again after that. In fact I tried it again just now, and the message didn't pop up. Can't say it was the http://androidforums.com/threads/the-security-certificate-for-this-site-is-not-trusted.672344/ same problem, but I would just ignore it if it's a trusted site (like facebook) you're going to. If it persists, then it's obviously something to look into. After reading the excellent suggestion above I checked the time/Date. The time was correct but the date was exactly a month out showing December 2013. As soon as I amended it to January 2014 everything worked perfectly again. Thanks Ambucias for an absolutely brilliant answer. How are certificates updated on Android, specifically the TF700? Thanks, Jeff Share Share this post on Digg Twitter Share on Facebook Reddit! This could be because in 2012, Google decided to remove checking for certificate revocation in Android and the SSL cert it is seeing for the web site you're visiting has changed in some aspect (like an old one expired and a new one now exists or the server's cert is now signed by a new Certificate Authority). If you tap View Certificate, what issue does the browser say it noticed?
