This can be caused by corrupt database files. If possible, try to isolate which drive or workspace has the corrupt file by unmounting the workspace or by adding a "x" to the Avid MediaFiles folder or OMFI MediaFiles folder's name (e.g. xAvid MediaFIles). I am currently in a fit of rage because every 10 minutes I get a crash error in Pro Tools. "Segmentation Fault in Main Thread, '0x0'" I have had this error for a while and it has followed me from my LE system to my HD 2 Accel system. Since the last patch, (I know I'm dumb for getting) I have been having a ton of issues, but this is the main one. The error goes as follows: I will make an automation move on a plugin via a C24. The moment I select another channel or plugin the C24 begins jumping from the top of my session track list to the bottom, Faders flying everywhere. Then I have to manually click a track in Pro Tools and if I'm lucky and the C24 stops moving. Then I push play and BAM! Segmentation Fault in Main Thread, "0x0". I hit ok and the Pro Tools crashes. I can't reopen Pro Tools until I do a system restart. I have searched the DUC forums and the AVID forums
