Retry, or cancel and return "A server error has occurred. Retry, or cancel and return to the previous Screen" error appears when going to "My Apps" when trying to find updates to current installed apps. I have never purchased an app, I'm just looking for updates on what I currently have. This was previously called "My Downloads" which was working fine before the latest 2.3 upgrade on Verizon. Has anyone else experienced this? I have already tried rebooting the phone and removing the battery. Share Share this post on Digg Twitter Share on Facebook Reddit! The latest time, I was installing the Facebook APP from Android Market. It didn't seem to work right but when I exited from MARKET and then tried to go back in, server error I get: ATTENTION A server error has occurred. Retry or cancel to return to previous screen I have had this happen a lot and I always just re-installed the firmware to fix it.. I remember reading somewhere that there is an easier fix for this problem... But with all the pages I have read the last week or so, I can't find it again.. Anyone have a clue or can point me to android market server the thread?? Back to top #3 sainthooligan sainthooligan Advanced Member Hero Member 348 posts LocationSouthern California Posted 26 September 2011 - 12:06 PM one trick is to set the date backwards, log into the market and let it fix itself. if you look in the OriginalPost of the FW full replacement you're using or of the patches you're using thread you'll find some more tips on "market fix"...it is also in the wiki. You shouldn't have to reset everything to get the market working (let alone every time). you can also try going to the applications and clear the market data. Also, be sure that you're wifi is actually "awake" you can see this from the wifi mac address, if you're seeing all "0"'s, then you know that's what it is. You might notice the wifi appears connected from the icon, but when you dig a little deeper- if there's no mac address you're not on. pr
