Allan Newbie Posts: 3 Can't connect to update server (error 403) « on: February 23, 2004, 12:13:48 avast server busy error PM » Hi, While trying to update the virus library, i always get an error server error 403 forbidden access is denied owa saying I can't connect to the server.I read the FAQ first and did check my proxy settings.The thing is, if i set my server error 403 internet explorer proxy settings to SPECIFY PROXY SETTINGS and use NTLM authentication, the connection test seems to work fine.Only when i leave this part of the configuration, Avast systematicallly puts the settings back to AUTO DETECT.Can anybody help me, server error 403 forbidden access is denied mac maybe send me the correct lines to insert in the avast4.iniThanxAllan Logged Vlk Global Moderator Serious Graphoman Posts: 11638 Please don't send me IM's. Do you have the latest version?Also, do you set NTLM, Authentication and put there username/password?
