Join Now I have been trying for days to figure out where the exact issue is wth this. we have a new exchange 2010 system that is in production, but we cannot access OWA. we get a runtime error and I am sure it has something to do with the web.config file. i have replaced the file, i have tried updating it, and even tried recreating it. all failed. the error log shows an error event ID 1310 and that the issue is with the web.config file at line 74 where it says it could not load the assembly 'Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Directory'. I see little info online about this. everyone says replace the web.config file but i have done that ad-nauseum and it gets me nowhere. any help would be appreciated. thank you here is the event log: - System - Provider [ Name] ASP.NET 2.0.50727.0 - EventID 1310 [ Qualifiers] 32768 Level 3 Task 3 Keywords 0x80000000000000 - TimeCreated [ SystemTime] 2013-10-16T15:14:57.000000000Z EventRecordID 47621 Channel Application Computer RKEXCHANGE2010.rippe.com Security - EventData 3008 A configuration error has occurred. 10/16/2013 11:14:57 AM 10/16/2013 3:14:57 PM 8f7fe521c28d459786c53ca267bea970 1 1 0 /LM/W3SVC/1/ROOT/owa-15-130264100972226341 Full /owa C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\ClientAccess\owa\ RKEXCHANGE2010 5780 w3wp.exe NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM HttpException Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Directory, Version=14.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856a
