This lookup (conversion of IP name to IP address) is provided by domain name servers (DNSs). Open an IP socket connection to that IP address. Write an HTTP data stream through that socket. Receive an HTTP data stream back from the Web server in response. This data stream contains status codes whose values are determined by the HTTP protocol. Parse this data stream for status codes and other useful information. This error occurs in the final step above when the client receives an HTTP status code that it recognises as '500'. When accessing it with firefox or internet explorer I got the full page (~200KB). When I read it with my program, I only got a part of the page (~64KB). This is my code: try { HttpWebRequest request = null; request = (HttpWebRequest)WebRequest.Create("http:// ... "); request.Timeout = 30000; request.Method http://stackoverflow.com/questions/36502382/reading-http-page-with-error-http-500-error-incomplete-result = "GET"; responseContent = null; HttpWebResponse response = (HttpWebResponse)request.GetResponse(); Stream responseStream = response.GetResponseStream(); StreamReader responseReader = new StreamReader(responseStream); responseContent = responseReader.ReadToEnd(); } catch (WebException ex) { Stream responseStream = ex.Response.GetResponseStream(); StreamReader responseReader = new StreamReader(responseStream); responseContent = responseReader.ReadToEnd(); } When I check the traffic with fiddler, I see that Http 500 is returned when accessing the page with the browser and with my program. But in all three cases I see the full page in fiddler. What can I do, to get the full page? The web page I'm try to read is not under my control. Normally issues are with the http headers not set correctly. When and http connection is made there is a negotiation that take place between client and server using the headers. If the headers aren't compatible then errors will occur. You probably need to add/modify current headers to work with server. &nda
my hoster changed the PHP to 5.3.3-7+squeeze14. Since then the gallery has stoped working, giving this error: Error 500! http://galleryproject.org/node/110892 /index.php Internal Server Error! I thought that Gallery 3.0.4 is supposed to work with PHP 5.3? Does anybody have the same problem ore, even better, a solution for it? Perhaps a permissions issue on the file-system with 5.3 being a different user? Why would they send you only two lines, then tell you that those lines aren't the issue? Anyway, I'd suggest first backing up everythin
