an error on the web server that you're trying to access. That server is misconfigured in some way that prevents it from responding properly to what you're asking it to do. Think of it like the web's version of a blue screen. 🙂 Something went so wrong on the server that it couldn't even tell you what the problem was. Aside from informing the site owner (which may or may not be the webmaster email address that's included in the error message), there's probably nothing that you can do to resolve this problem. That's because it's not your problem. The person who is responsible for the website needs to fix it. It's still the server's fault, but… Now, there are scenarios where you might have caused this. One issue might be if you saw a link in an email or webpage and rather than clicking on it, you copied and pasted the link in a web browser. If you accidentally didn't select the entire link and left off a few important characters at the end, you might see this message. The question is, did you get the correct gpEasy installation screen and information? please see my gpEasy Tutorials for information on installing gpEasy and what you should see and expect. Also, there are tutorials for setting up gpEasy locally with xampp lite https://www.typesettercms.com/Forum?show=t245 and then just synchronizing gpEasy with your server--works the best for me. If you can't resolve your issue with those tutorials then please let us know and try to get form information--e.g. what steps of installation were completed and what info did you get or not get. Edited: 6 years ago#892midrik19 PostsThanks for your reply. It is very weird, I have been able to install gpeasy without problems and using it. But today I tried a fresh install on a clean new domain account on the same server and I got the same error before the installation screen,.. did not get to the installation screen. 6 years ago#895Charles S448 Posts13.7K Downloads2 Themes8 PluginsMy guess is something changed with your host provider. Since gpEasy is pretty much self contained as long as you have correct file permissions and correct php version then it ought to work. If you were able to install it easily before and now you can't then ask your host what changed. . . Make sure you test the older version of gpEasy as well as the newer. Host do change things.
