Have you tried deleting the .htaccess file and letting WordPress create a new one? You could also try manually reinstalling WordPress You could also try increasing your PHP memory https://wordpress.org/support/topic/500-internal-server-error-wp-login/ limit samtheblog @samtheblog 3 months, 2 weeks ago - I added this: define(‘WP_HOME','http://samtheblog.com'); define(‘WP_SITEURL','http://samtheblog.com'); but with my website to the wp-config.php to make sure URL is correct - I can delete the .htaccess file and just create a new one but that didn't work. When I downloaded wordpress it didn't come with one so I just copy and pasted this in a file I named .htaccess: # BEGIN WordPress

Not sure if it's the same issue. https://wordpress.org/support/topic/500-internal-server-error-wp-admin-only?replies=7 Not sure what you're referring to by "nulled", but a plugin conflict might internal server error do it. Easiest and simplest way to uninstall a plugin when your WordPress site breaks is to find that plugin's folder and delete it out of the WordPress plugins folder. You can always reinstall them later. I suggest removing them one by one so you can figure out which one caused the issue. - 500 internal server error Can't access wp admin - 500 internal server error Avdeep Bahra @avdeep-bahra 11 months, 2 weeks ago Hi, I'm receiving a 500 internal server error and can't access my wp-admin. Only thing I did between when I could access it and couldn't was some work on the Menu page. I also added 2 plugs ins earlier and activated them - can't recall now which ones they were (as I can't access my wp admin site to look). My site is http://www.avdeepbahra.com Thank you, Avdeep Viewing 1 replies (of 1 total) Moderator Matthew @kidsguide 11 months, 2 weeks ago Internal server errors (error 500) are often caused by plugin or theme function conflicts, so if you have access to your admin panel, try deactivating all plugins. If you don't have access to your admin panel, try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause. If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the default theme for your version of WordPress to rule-out a theme-specific issue. If you don't have access to your admin panel, access your server via FTP or SFTP, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue. If that does not resolve the issue, it's possible that a .htaccess rule could be the source of the problem. To check for this, access your server via FTP or SFTP and rename the .htaccess file. If you can't find a .htaccess file, make sure that you have set your FTP or SFTP client to view invisible files. If you werenโt able to resolve the issue by either resetting your plugins and theme or renaming your .htaccess file, we may be able to help, but we'll need a more detailed error message. Internal server errors are usually described in more detail in the server error log. If you have access to your server error log, generate the error again, note the date and time, then immediately check your server error log for any errors that occurred during that time period. If you donโt have access to your server error log, ask your hosting provider to look for you. Viewing 1 replies (of 1 total) You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
