Validation of Workflow Rule based on Date field value OSQL error at the time of installing CRM By greytrix On February 13, 2012 You http://www.sqlservercentral.com/Forums/Topic113486-24-1.aspx must have come across the above mentioned issue when installing CRM on multiserver architecture where Application server and Database server are two different machines on the network. This error occurs at the time of installing CRM on Application server. This issue seems to be related to the database connectivity across the server, but what I found is that it occurs because of improper installation of http://www.greytrix.com/blogs/sagecrm/2012/02/13/osql-error-at-the-time-of-installing-crm/ SQL native client on CRM application server. To resolve the above error you can follow below mentioned steps. 1. Uninstall SQL native client application from Add or Remove programs on CRM Application Server. 2. Run the SQL Server installation again. 3. On the feature selection page select the features as shown in below screenshot and continue installing all the client tools on the server. This will take care of all the executables and files needed for database connectivity from Application server. I have checked this , and in SQLCMD (Equivalent command in SQL Server 2005) do not have this issue. You may try that.... OSQL -w Allows the user to set the screen width for output. The default is 80 characters. When an output line has reached its maximum screen width, it is broken into multiple lines. SQLCMD -w -w column_width Specifies the screen width for output. This option sets the sqlcmd scripting variable SQLCMDCOLWIDTH. The column width must be a number greater than 8 and less than 65536. If the specified column width does not fall into that range, sqlcmd generates and error message. The default width is 80 characters. When an output line exceeds the specified column widt
