I am a newbie to Sharepoint and the only references I can find when Googling talk about CAML queries and mismatching field names but I've no idea where to find CAML queries and fieldnames appear to be OK. I have played "spot the difference" with the working form and cannot find anything. All the fields are in a ContentType used by both forms. The equivalent "edit" form works fine - again I can't see any significant difference with it. It doesn't always give reliable information, but you may want to try to open your form in InfoPath and see if it gives you any clues about what the problem might be.It sounds like InfoPath isn't configured correctly in your SharePoint farm and you would need your admin to look into those settings. The first thing to do when you have access to your admin is to provide him with the Correlation ID and the time the error occurred.
