Infopath Cannot Submit The Form
i am on deadline for a very important demo and this error is bugging me for some time now. In general: For a infopath form as simple as it is, it's not possible to call any webservice method from Excel Services that has something to do with write rights. The strange is that all read actions form an Excel workbook are done perfectly but when I use a submit action - even the simplest action for Closing Workbook

produces the error "There was a form postback error" Event Id- 5374. None of the suggested solutions on forums works, i even try to fill in the form with the farm account. All permissions are set- Secure Service store is Configured and started Excel Service account has rights on the content database. Is this an infoptah form services issue? Is this a browser issue? Is this a Sharepoint issue? Is there a bug in Sharepoint 2010 SP1 or one of the CU's? Or is this a Excel Services or an SQL serve 2008 issue? Please i need some kind of help.. What is really strange is that i am calling from a simple inforpath form without any calculations 2 methods: one Read Webservice for opening the Workbook and one submut for closing the Workbook. What authentication do you use for your site? You can try to enable Kerberos for the farm and for Excel Services. If on premises, you should also get a correlation id in the error message that you can provide your SharePoint admin - they can review the log files and get you additional info on what is going wrong. Do you know what you may have changed in your form between a working publish and the new one that doesn't work? Form load rules, or maybe rules on a field that gets set when the form loads? and questions I believe it is appropriate to announce, that this blog has been already retired for years. After 11 years https://strepas.wordpress.com/ being with Microsoft as a professional premier support engineer, I left the company in 2011 and my interests shifted slightly, away from coding. I still work in the IT & Architecture area, however .NET, Visual Studio & C# are not any more in my every day's business focus. Strangely enough, I’m however missing badly the coding practice, so there the form are chances some day in the future I will return, but not yet. Saumil asked me whether in my previously posted FBA Utility for SharePoint 2010 the fixed page size (by default set to 5) could be made customizable. The answer is, yes, here it goes. Check out, the last menu's Title has been changed to "Control Settings" (Picture 1). Clicking on that menu you will be able to switch caching on or off (like in previous version) and additionally alter the number of displayed users. The input (Picture 2) accepts a number between five and one hundred twenty. Why 120? OK, this seems to be some truly arbitrary value, however I do not believe, you will feel comfortable managing as much as 120 users per page or more.
