I realize that this is my first post, and to be honest I do not post on any forums, but any help that anyone may have for me will be greatly appreciated. Many thanks,Paul AMD Phenom X4 9600 Quad-Core 2.3Ghz Asus M2N68 AM2+ Motherboard 4GB DDR2 Ram 160GB SATA HDD DVDRW Drive 512mb Geforce 8400GS Wireless Card Windows XP 450watt PSU JeanTech ATX Case Cubase 4 LE Tascam 1641 pshields1984 New Member Posts: 17Joined: Fri Aug 05, 2011 11:00 pm Hasthanked: 0 time Beenthanked: 0 time Private messageWebsiteYIM Top Reply with quote Re: Cubase 4 LE "Too many tracks recording" Tascam 1641 by halljack » Sat Aug 06, 2011 8:19 am pshields1984 wrote:but any help that anyone may have for me will be greatly appreciated.pshields1984: Check out one of my other posts on this.viewtopic.php?f=25&t=7277and scroll downhalljack Ps: If you've set up your VST Connections properly and your project page, I'm wondering if you have enough memory with your computer I multi-track like you describe with my band alot with the same tascam US-1641, But I use Cubase 6 most

ChrisH Active Member Joined: Nov 22, 2011 Location: Salt Lake City, Utah Hey all, Recently "upgraded" to Cubase 7.5, and so far it has done nothing but cause workflow problems, headaches, lost takes, aggravated clients. Contacted Steinberg to issue a refund or at least technical help, I got no response (how nice of them, I certainly wont be purchasing Steinberg products in the future). I've been a cubase user since 2004, and have upgraded to each new version as they arrived. Never have I really had any real problems at all with cubase, until now with 7.5. Issues: 1. After arming selected tracks (no http://www.steinberg.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=11768 matter how many or how few) and hitting record, 90% of the time i get the "Error too many tracks recording". 2. When I can actually get it to record with out giving me issue #1 and I hit stop when the take is done, sometimes it takes up to 15 minutes to process that simple command. It acts as though my brand new iMac is froze, but while cubase is taking 15 minutes to process the most simple of http://recording.org/threads/cubase-7-5-problems.55412/ commands, I can surf the internet with no problems, or anything else I'd like to do on the computer. Those are the two biggest problems, besides the terribly lay out of 7.5, and the awful color scheme, and no real new useful features. Anyone experiencing this? Solutions? HELP!! All the those settings you forgot about in the older version need to be redone. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk TheJackAttack, Feb 7, 2014 #2 kmetal Kyle P. Things as weird as a .2 version of DP killed its ability to work w a liquid mix well. I'm all set. It's easy to keep working w what works. Tape 57s all that crap, taps obviously isn't functionally great, but anything that makes the CPU I using closer to a purpose built recorder, like the old Alesia's thing, I'm fine w. It's almost easy and hard to ask a CPU to just record. It thinks it has to do more, like post on RO, or edit the fam vid. kmetal, Feb 7, 2014 #3 The

I switched from my MR816 to an Edirol interface (both drivers updated to the most recent versions) and I copied the project from my external Glyph HD onto my internal HD but the problem persists. The strange thing is: before the update, multitracking was no problem at all... I could record more than 8 tracks simultaneously with the same setup. Any help would be seriously appreciated! Share Quote 20th July 2010 #2 Human Fly Gear nut This was happening to my band. We use a laptop SX3 (Need to upgrade) Funny thing was it happened one night when we were jamming and recording it. We then went to record some songs at a later date and tracked the instruments individually. Drums no problem, Bass no problem. Guitars "Too many tracks recording) If we turned the guitars down it became less problematic. Turned the amps again, and it worked fine. The only side affect was no tone from the guitars. We then moved to a much bigger room (An old T.V studio) and the problem stopped. Moved another room and the problem returned. Anyway we found the solution. It was vibrations from the guitar amp that were causing this to happen. Sat the laptop on a bit of firm sponge/foam, isolating it from the vibrations that travell

Might be the HDD bandwidth? Could be the interface also. Maybe the OS...I have read that Vista had issues with SX3 unless it got fixed after the fact. Also if the hard drive is running out of room it may give that error. #4 Terminus, Jan 2, 2012 AudioGeekZine arsehole know-it-all Joined: Jan 1, 2008 Messages: 3,470 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 36 Location: Vancouver SX3 is about 40 years old (in DAW year
