Type 192.168.0.1 in Internet Explorer.2. Enter Username/Password (Phone Virgin Media if you don't know).3. Goto Advanced Settings (at the bottom of the page).4. Goto (Security) "Port Forwarding".5. I have been with Virgin Media for nearly a year and despite my best efforts (following sporadic online 'guides' and https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18322304 reading other pleas for help) i have been unable to VPN into work from home. http://vpnonline.pl/en/konfiguracja/vpn-passthrought This is important for me because ironically i work for a cloud computing company and getting this working will mean i can spend far more time working from home, and wouldnt have to come in on days like today when i'm feeling under the weather but have a critical deadline next week. I know it's not my laptop settings becuase i can connect virgin media everywhere else. Its definatly the Virgin connection at home. I have read that it is to do with the Router they give you, but the *fix* that works for some (flashing it with the manufacturers default firmware) hasnt solved the problem for me. So first off i would like to know: Are there any Virgin Media users on here that have VPN working on their setup (and what router do you use have) ? And, can anyone recommend a vpn virgin media cable router that DEFINITELY works with VPN? In most cases, the VPN Passthrought option can be found in: Security -> Firewall tab and applicable to protocols: PPTP, L2TP and IPsec Below you will find two examples for the modem and the router to fix this problem: Unlocking the connection on the DD-WRT router Log into your router and go to the "Security" -> "VPN" tab Unlocking the connection on the Virgin Media Super Hub modem Log into your router and go to the "Filtering" -> "Services" tab Instructions for Super Hub 2 modem is on our forum: PPTP - Zablokowanie połączenie - Virgin Media Super Hub 2 In the cheaper routers or modems, VPN Pass-Through option can be enabled by default (check the router specification).
