JetSystem washing machine throwing E10 error during wash and rinse cycles. From own research, the most common issue that causes E10 is the inlet water https://www.boards.ie/b/thread/2056103675 pressure, clogged filters and/or inlet solenoid vales. I have already checked and ruled them out as everything looks good. However I think the problem is with the flat white box above the http://www.diynot.com/diy/threads/zanussi-wjs-1265w-e10-on-dryer-cycle.32670/ detergent dispenser - I think it's clogged with limescale. I am thinking if I could force some anti-limescale stuff thru the two little black rubber pipes that connects the inlet solenoids washing machine to the white water dispensing box, that just might do the trick. However, the washing machine doesn't 'suck' water as such, so I really need to force it into it when the the machine is off - I am thinking if I could get hold of a large syringe or something similar, that might work. Anyone know where can I get something like zanussi washing machine that, essentially something to force some anti-limescale stuff into the washing machine's water inlet? Thanks a million..!! If only I can find something like that locally instead of Missouri! MidlandsM Banned 28-Nov-2010 14:54 #4 Your local toy shop will have cheap water guns to lash the water in for you. Then, when finished, you can give it to the kids (if you have any) etc......win / win knighted_1 Banned 28-Nov-2010 15:42 #5 have you checked the solenoid is ok ? positron Registered User 29-Nov-2010 16:46 #6 Yes, the solenoids are okay. They are fairly cheap to replace (20-30 euro) if I had to, but they are working okay. I will check local toy shop for a zooka thingee, and see if it would be strong enough for the job. by stupid, 30 Sep 2005. stupid Joined: 30 Sep 2005 Messages: 2 Thanks Received: 0 Location: Devon Country: Can anyone shed any light on this - when I put the dryer cycle on the drum goes around for about 5 minutes, doesn't produce any heat tho, and the timer doesn't tick down at all. It then sticks on E10 error message. I have tried cleaning the filters as the book suggests. The machine is just over 4 years old, is a Zanussi WJS 1265 W Washer/dryer. Any help would be hugely appreciated, even if it is just making me a bit more knowledgeable so I don't get fleeced by a repairer. Thanks. stupid, 30 Sep 2005 #1 keithwasherman Joined: 23 Aug 2005 Messages: 210 Thanks Received: 2 Location: Northumberland Country: firstly not all of we repairers will fleece you. there are some good guys out there. e10 means that there is a problem with the water supply. a condenser dryer needs cold water to operate properly. the e10 code will appear if: 1. the water is turned off 2.the water pressure is too low. 3.the solenoid valve is open circuit 4.there is a problem with the pressure switch (least likely) my money would be on the solenoid coil being open circuit. the coil can be canabalised from most valves although you may have to modify the connections. if you decide that you want an original part then the number is 1249472-11/7 keithwasherman, 30 Sep 2005 #2 stupid Joined: 30 Sep 2005 Messages: 2 Thanks Received: 0 Location: Devon Country: Thanks for that reply keithwasherman! - I should sound a bit more knowledgeable now (would sound better if I knew what the 'solenoid valve/coil' and 'open circuit' were tho?! If you have a sec that would be great. Sorry if I sounded insulting to repairers - just bad experience that is all! Thanks again S stupid, 3 Oct 2005 #3 keithwasherman Joined: 23 Aug 2005 Messages: 210 Thanks Received: 2 Location: Northumberland Country: the solenoid coil is the electrical portion of the cold water valve which your hose is attached to. it will be a dual coil i.e. one coil opens the valve for wash and rinse water intake, the other opens the valve for your condenser. cold water is vital to a condenser dryer as it condenses the warm moist air and gets rid through your drain pump. open circuit means that electricity cannot flow through the coil therefore the valve will not open. you need a multimeter to test it safely ( with machine unplugged). if there is no circuit then replace the coil. keithwasherman, 3 Oct 2005 #4 MikeHoward Joined: 29 Oct 2008 Messages: 1 Thanks Received: 0 Location: Cambridgeshire Countr
