My Life April 30th, 2009 I have a Frigidaire washer model GLTF2940FS01T. It error code e20 frigidaire dishwasher won't drain or spin. I get the E20 code. I have no idea what that indicates. Share it! This is consistent with the drain and spin problem that you are observing. To determine the exact error code, follow these steps: Wake the machine by pressing any button Wait 5 seconds Press and hold the START and PAUSE/CANCEL buttons simultaneously The exact error code (E21, E23 or E24) will be displayed. If E23 or E24 are displayed, http://www.shopyourway.com/questions/1030789 you will normally need to replace the control board due to a failed drain pump relay. If the E21 code is displayed, I recommend that you follow these troubleshooting tips: Check the washer drain to see if it is clogged. Check the washer drain hose for a clog or restriction. Make sure that the washer drain system complies with the installation instructions for the washer. Try to gravity drain the washer by placing the drain hose in a bucket on the floor. If the washer will gravity drain, you may be able to unplug the washer and remove the bottom front service panel using the procedure in the image below. Arrange towels to catch residual water that may be in the washer and check the pump filter and drain trap for a clog or debris. If you find no clog or debris, then you may need to replace the drain pump. NOTE: You should not attempt this procedure unless you are completely confident in your technical ability to safely access and check the pump. With a pair of pliers you can remove the clamp holding smaller end of the rubber coin catch to the tub, with a Phillips screw driver you can remove the on washing machine larger clamp of the rubber coin catch to the tub. From the back panel you again use your pliers to remove the clamp to the drain line, and finally with a Philips screw driver remove the two screws holding the pump to the bottom of the washer. Oh yes, do not forget to unplug the wire from the pump. Now pull the pump out with the black rubber boot still attached. Mark the orientation of the pump to the boot with a sharpie pen, and remove the last clamp. Now look inside the black rubber boot and gently remove the plastic basket inside and remove any thing that does not belong, reassemble ant test.
