It may indeed be full of water - but not necessarily. This error code is used on some Indesit washing machines too Before a washing machine spins the laundry it needs a signal that the water has washing machine pumped away successfully so it knows that it's safe to spin. This error indicates that for various possible reasons it's not getting that signal. This can be caused by a pump fault or blockage in the filter, but if this is the case then clearly when the fault occurs it should be stuck full of water or at least still have a fair amount inside (if so follow this not draining water hotpoint wd865a error guide and help stuck full of water). But if the water has pumped away OK and you still get this error then it's not a pump blockage, it's a fault elsewhere. Suspects are that the pressure switch itself is jammed, (i.e. the switch is physically stuck), or it's being jammed on by air pressure due to a blockage in the pressure chamber bottle at the bottom of the thin tube (connected to the pressure switch). This can hold air pressure in the tube keeping the pressure switch on. In the latter case, pulling off the small tube at the base of the pressure switch should result in an audible click as the pressure is released and the pressure switch springs back to off. Other faults listed as possible causes for this error are faulty connections and even the pcb, which I wouldn't advise replacing. If you have this fault and can't see anything obvious - call an engineer Related to F05 fault finding How a washing machine controls water levels Faults on pressure system Comments Disabled Sorry, comments on this topic have been closed. Cookers & Ovens Tumble Dryers Buy Appliances Repair Using Safety Spare Parts Consumer Rights Renting Home » All white goods Articles » Washing Machines » Washing Machine Error Codes » Indesit or Hotpoint error code F07 or light flashing 7 timesJune 20, 2008 By Andy Trigg (Whitegoodshelp) 12 Comments Indesit or Hotpoint error code F07 or light flashing 7 times It seems that a common error code on Indesit washing machines is error code 7. This code can show itself as F07 or with washing machines that have a rotating control dial the door lock light can flash in cycles of 7 flashes instead. As Indesit and Hotpoint are made by the same company some Hotpoint models also use this error code (WF and WD models). This error code usually means, "heater relay stuck". The heater is switched on via a relay built into the main PCB. This relay is known to get jammed causing error code 7. In my experience this has usually meant a new PCB needed fitting and as the PCB comes without the main processor EEPROM chip one of those is needed also. This repair is likely to be expensive. I have heard anecdotally of engineers freeing off the jammed relay on the PCB by giving it a firm tap. However, if it's stuck once there would be a chance the relay could get stuck again later on. If a washing machine is still under the five-year parts warranty it would be cheaper to let the manufacture fit these parts but although the parts would be free the labour is going to be about £90.
