I have windows error done the configuration according to spec: 1: create DHCP server user 2: Assign DHCP server to DNSUpdateProxy Group It is just this final step that I am having trouble with. When I set this up before on a different network there were no issues. The only windows error codes thing that I can think of that would be different would be that the server that I am setting up now is a plain Server 2008 and the other network that I had no issues with was a Server 2008 R2. Any Ideas? Is it the fact that the setup where I am getting the error is due to the Server 2008 not an R2 release? July 2nd, 2013 12:02pm This topic is archived. No further replies will be accepted. interesting problem. We upgraded our Domain controllers to Windows 2003 this past wekeend. Since then we have not been able to access certain websites mainly Yahoo mail. (Mail.Yahoo.com) I can get to Yahoo.com, but cannot get to Yahoo Mail. I switched client side DNS settings to use ISP dns servers & i'm able to access the web page. We use AD-Integrated DNS zones, & root Hints to resolve outside Domains. Please assist, for this may be part of a bigger problem if more "critical" sites are identified as unaccessible Blue Bluehades, Apr 14, 2004 #1 Advertisements Kevin D.
