that a bunch of other programs started giving side-by-side configuration errors (like Word and Photoshop). I've searched for solutions itunes download to this on this forum and on other websites, but none have produced a good result. When I tried to reinstall or repair the set up of Itunes or Apple Mobile Device, it gives me an error that says I do not have enough privelges to install it and asks for me to retry, ignore, or abort.If it also helps, Apple Mobile Device does not start in Services. It gives me the following error -Any help would be greatly appreciated.edit: I've tried to do a completely clean install multiple times and it still produces these same messages. No success yet ....Here's what I have done 1) Ran chkdsk in repair mode. There were some bad sectors and file segments. 2) Checked Event Viewer - Erroirs showed at the time of the problem in Sidebyside, event id 32 and event id 59. This identified that Dependent Assembly V80.CRT not available. Not sure if this related to iTunes installation, but downloaded it and installed. 3) Repaired the .NET Framework 2.0, and applied new .NET 3.5 Service Pack It could be that I screwed up the .NET install as used Repair mode rather than a complete delete and reinstaIl.
