2012 by mymce Problem:- I am using Windows 7 Home Premium.Suddenly I am getting the following error within Windows Media display driver error windows media center hdhomerun Center:- "Display Driver error.The video playback device does not support windows media center hdhomerun prime playback of protected content." Resolution:- This problem may be caused by several things:- a>It may be windows media center hdhomerun prime tuner not found due to audio issue.It can be fixed by updating the audio driver. Some times Setting up audio output for 5.1 instead of 7.1 in speaker fixes the windows media center hdhomerun prime setup issue. Some times un-check “Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device.” under the sound advanced properties helps.Open Control Panel> Click on Sound icon > Select your default Sound device > click properties > go the Advanced tab. Under Exclusive Mode un-check “Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device.” >Click
