When i play any video file it tries to download a codec but says there is an error and therefore there is no sound, only picture. When trying to play sound files it just keeps repeatedly changing tracks as it fails to play each song. I can watch films and hear sound ok in other programs - eg. divx player, so im guessing it's a problem with WMP 10. I have tried reinstalling WMP with no success. Is there a default audio codec that i can download and install?Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks Post a reply Discussion is locked Flag Permalink You are posting a reply to: Media Player 10 codec error: C00D10D1 NO SOUND!
