Help Me-Error Code C00D11BA from WMP, how can I fix it to play sounds? I have been trying to listen and play music with no windows media player error c00d11ba windows 10 success. I get the error in the subject, I click on web information and get the C00D11BA error. I have tried searching this code to get help to fix it and I'm only more confused because every place I have gone to tells you to do something different and I have no idea what sound chip is, where it is what I have, nothing. I want to install/reinstall whatever I need to be able to play music on WMP. That is all I want to know, what steps I need to go about to restore this. I have gone into tools on WMP, options, devices and anything they told me to do I did and no success. I've been told to install software drivers and go into control panel under hardware, how am I gonna know what I need to install from there? I have no idea about it. I have gone into my sounds and audio devices from control panel and the window that pops up, the volume tab, I can't click on anything in there, it won't allow me to. Anyways, I have gone and tried my best to figure this out and correct it, I'm usually good about searching and getting the help I need to fix it on my own but I can't, I'm beyond confused. I had gone to Belarc Advisor and I'm still confused because 8 things are missing and I see REINSTALL and none of them seem to look as if they would help with the sound. And when I click details, I have no idea where to click to install anything. It's very confusing for me. Can anybody please help me? This is my last resort, I have asked in yahoo answers and no one is helpful. *I also when I started my computer up got a window saying Found New Hardware saying this wizard helps you install software for: Multimedia Audio Controller, I'm assuming this has something to do with the issue? And I can't go any farther because I don't know enough on where to look for hardware or how to get it back. It gives me the option to install automatically but it doesn't do anything, just does the mag
c00d11ba message? Sounds like Windows Media Player is having a problem with your sound card or sound controller. Kodak Black Ink Cartridge 10B Error c00d11ba Resolution Suggestions: 1) Make sure that a sound device is installed on your computer; if one isn't, just install one. In most cases, Windows will automatically detect the new hardware and install the necessary software drivers. If Windows does not automatically install the software drivers, run the Add Hardware Wizard to install them yourself (click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Add Hardware). 2) Another program is using the sound device, and preventing the Player from accessing it. Close all http://www.softwaretipsandtricks.com/forum/drivers/40492-no-sound-error-code-c00d11ba-wmp-how-can-i-fix-play-sounds.html other programs so that the Player is the only program running, and then try to play the file again. 3) The software drivers for your sound device may be missing or corrupted. Try reinstalling the most recent software drivers for your sound device by scanning for updates on the Windows Update Web site or by going to your sound device manufacturer's Web site. 4) Windows Media Player may be using a version of Microsoft DirectX http://www.updatexp.com/c00d11ba.html that is incompatible with the hardware features on your sound device. (This may explain why you can hear sound when you use some software programs, but not when you use the Player.) Install the most current version of DirectX by going to the DirectX Web page. Error c00d11ba not resolved? If none of the previous suggestions work, refer to your sound device manufacturer's documentation or run the Sound Device Trouble shooter to see if the device is functioning properly: 1) In the Player, on the Tools menu, click Options. 2) On the Devices tab, in the list of devices, click Speakers, and then click the Properties button. 3) On the Speakers tab, click the Advanced button. 4) On the Hardware tab, double-click your sound device in the list of hardware devices and then view its properties, or click the Troubleshoot button to help you pinpoint any problems the device might be having. Note that in some cases, this error can be caused by improperly configured speaker or sound device properties. For more information, see the following question. Error c00d11ba still not resolved, no sound? Most likely, the speaker or sound device properties in the Player are configured incorrectly.
