Anyway when I open wmc it says it corrected a problem and I redownload the guide but nothing happens and if I choose to do it a second time it gives me the error again. I live in Canada so I have a couple of .dat files I have had to run to get the the tv guide to work for me. Im not sure if there is a conflict but I have had wmc running before with no problems. Windows Media Center Epg Not Updating
Sign in to vote Windows Media Center hasn't updated the guide nearly two weeks. It just ran out of listings today. I try to https://mymce.wordpress.com/2011/01/23/fixing-guide-download-error/ update manually, but I get an error message saying that the Guide could not be downloaded. If I mouse over the Windows Media Center Update icon in the system tray, I see a bunch of errors flash past, all having to do with "could not establish trust relationship for the https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windows/en-US/1511488d-13a0-468f-b4b7-b3ea500fa307/wmc-guide-download-error-the-guide-could-not-be-downloaded?forum=w7itpromedia SSL/TLS secure channel". The last successful update appears to be October 26th.
