Original Xbox Error 16 Fix
of 54 (53,941 Views) Error code RDK-03004 Options Mark as New Bookmark Subscribe Subscribe to RSS Feed Highlight Print Report For the last month about once a week my main X1 DVR box stops receiving its signal and gives me an error code RDK-03004. I've had this same box for about 18 months and had this issue once or twice prior to this last month. My secondary box gives me TV and purchased movies, but obviously, original xbox error code 21 no recordings. I've called customer service each time and we've run through the reboot protocol and signal resending. The previous Ike's, the box comes online anywhere between 8 and 24 hours later. The second call resulted in a service call being scheduled, but because a tech couldn't come for almost a week, the box reset and the call was canceled. The most recent call resulted in being told to take the box to a service center to be exchanged. Does this sound like the box, or an issue with the signal coming into the house and to the box? With the secondary box working I'm a little confused. Solved! It means that particular X1 box has a poor to unusable connection to the Comcast network. Triple check your connections. Remove any unused splitters.Unless you are very fluent in troubleshooting AV gear, I suspect you need to call Comcast and get a tech out to your house.Crutan2943 wrote:For the last month about once a week my main X1 DVR b

just wanted to schedule a tech to come out to our house (good trick I original xbox error code 16 must say to get someone on site and charge you) I engaged the support chat (transcript will follow) and search the online and xbox error 13 found several people having this type of issue. I've even located a post that gave instruction on what to do, however this did not work Instructions: ComcastCares on Twitter To restore your X1 service, unplug the cord on the http://forums.xfinity.com/t5/X1/Error-code-RDK-03004/td-p/2527514 X1 box from the electrical outlet.Wait 30sec before plugging the cord back into the outlet. Thanks but that does not resolve the issue I am facing but wastes about 10 min's time for the unit to power back up and only fail with the same error status code. So I did some digging of my own to locate how to get into the X1's Diagnostics area To enter the The X1 Platform Diagnostics Page: Hold down Exit http://jermsmit.com/x1-error-code-rdk-03004-unable-to-connect-to-xfinity/ button for 5 seconds Press the down arrow twice Push the number 2 button That brings up diagnostics screen. Use arrows to navigate. Exit button to exit. After checking the diagnostics of my box I noticed the all seemed operational, until I noticed the unit no longer was assigned an IP Address . I mentioned this to support and they still had me troubleshoot, but I was pleased that they did admit that the issue I am facing seem to be on their end and not mine.
