Xbox Error 12
sometimes it turns on fine, other times during play it shuts down and says disk is xbox dvd drive dirty, and other times it just won't come on, displaying a message on screen in multiple languages that it needs service, with the number original xbox error code 12 fix "11" in the upper left hand edge of the screen. The button on the front flashes red/green when that message in up. After some reading on this forum, I found that error code 11 means that it can't find

the DVD drive. Does this mean the drive itself is bad, or that something else is wrong internally that it can't find the drive????? I guess what I'm asking is "will a new DVD drive fix this problem?" Thanks!!! -T TomFL View Public Profile Find all posts by TomFL #2 Feb 01, 2005, 08:03 AM sadalius Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: http://www.teammodders.com Posts: 213 Error Code 1 Check the IDE cable connection 2 Replace
