thanks to Mr Aces, i resolve the problem.. it was the problem of permalinks resolved after changing the log file of apache kosarrMember @kosarr 4 years, 6 months ago Chirs it was the problem of WAMP server that was resolved after httpd.config edit Patrick SanMember @gospelcast 4 years, 5 months ago hi guys.. just installed buddypress to this new site am building, http://gospelcast.org but i can't seem to get the "groups" page and profiles running. when i click on the nav menu tab, it gives an error message. when i look through profiles, there seems to be no way one can create groups. what must i do then? on the right sidebar, the "create a new account" link doesnt work, it only gives error message. same is true when one uses the sign in link near the header. i also wonder how a user starts making/posting blogs after making an account. I already set new users to be "authors", but when i look from the profiles, there is no button or link there that i can find

try installing fresh WordPress on Wamp 3.8 (windows 7 and windows server 2012) then I install the requested url was not found on this server wordpress localhost BuddyPress 1.9.2 and add register page and activate page. I add login widget of buddy press to sidebar. when I go to website and click on my https://buddypress.org/support/topic/resolved-404-the-requested-url-not-found-on-this-server/ name or avatar to go to my profile page I see this 404 erorr: Not Found The requested URL /members/sara/ was not found on this server. (same thing happens when I click on activities, members, groups) Does it have a problem with Wamp? because Bitnami installation doesn't have this problem. months ago I've got buddypress installed, adapted my theme correctly, set and reset permalinks multiple times, got all of the main pages working fine (memberlist, activity stream, groups, forums, etc) however when https://buddypress.org/support/topic/404-error-on-all-buddybar-links-main-pages-work-fine/ I click on any of the links on the buddy bar, it gives me a 404 error. Basically anything that links off my domain like /members/**name** doesn't work and gives me a 404 error. Please help! I've tried all of the common steps to fix this and have been googling for days but no luck.. If you're running WAMP 2.2 you can go to Apache >> Apache modules, scroll down and make sure that ‘rewrite_modules' is checked. Here's another way, too… http://www.404-error.org/buddypress-404-file-not-found-fix/ whyme26Member @whyme26 4 years, 4 months ago I have the same problem. All the main pages (groups, activity, forums, etc..) work fine, It's just the "Buddybar" links under "My 404 error in Account" like Profile, and such. This is a fresh install of WordPress and Buddypress with no plugins and using the default buddypress theme. As far as I know rewite_modules are turned on - if they weren't wouldn't pretty permalinks not work at all? Although I'm still thinking it's something with my host as buddypress works fine running on localhost with xampp.. Any idea what could be going on? Could this maybe be buggering it up….? this WP/BP install is on my domain's root, but I do have some subdomains running other wordpress installs (no buddypress). Thanks for any advice. rxcknrxllMember @rxcknrxll 4 years, 4 months ago I seem to be having the same issue. Every Buddypress page is broken. The rest of the site works fine. I'm running the site on Bluehost, so I don't have access to the apache modules. But Bluehost has indicated that rewrite_module is on. Everything seems in order, and Buddypress installation went just fine. But all the pages are broken. rxcknrxllMember @rxcknrxll 4 years, 4 months ago Also…why do I keep showing up as "deleted user"?
