a few minutes. Join Now I installed a GoDaddy certificate, making the mistake of following exchange 2010 owa 404 error GoDaddy instructions for Exchange 2007. It includes using Exchange Management Shell's "Import-ExchangeCertificate -Path c:\locationOfCertFile" and "Enable-ExchangeCertificate -Thumbprint xxxxxxxx -Services "SMTP, IMAP, IIS"" owa 404 error exchange 2013 commands. Now OWA is inaccessible. I cannot connect to the server to retrieve mail. On the server itself, "https://remote.server.com/owa"; results in a 404 Not Found--"The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name

changed, or is temporarily unavailable."
After researching further, I found these instructions: http://sbs.seandaniel.com/2009/02/installing-godaddy-standard-ssl.html. I ran through the instructions from scratch. It involves only importing the intermediate certificate and using the SBS wizard to "Add a Trusted Certificate". However, the 404 Not Found error continues. I've also recently installed an Exchange 2007 rollup, but the certificate was expiring at the same time, so I don't know if something else caused this problem. Any ideasOwa Http 404 Error

They didn't know how to make it work either. Add an Exchange rollup, and you may as well say Goodbye to your data. I don't think this is a certificate issue at all, the more I look at it. The 404 error lists C:\inetpub\wwwroot\owa as the Physical Path. There is no o

in to vote We are evaluating Exchange 2007 to migrate from Domino. I have it running on Microsoft Virtual owa 500 error Server 2005 R1. The VM has 2G of RAM allocated to it and has been running fine for a few weeks. Last night the machine must have received updates from WSUS. https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/286100-exchange-2007-owa-404-not-found-error-internally-and-externally-sbs-2008 All my other servers rebooted at 3:00A, and when I came in this morning the Exchange VM was hung on "Shutting Down." As soon as I made the VMRC connection to it, the machine finished shutting down and restarted. When the box came back up, Outlook 2K7 clients could connect just fine. I noticed something was wrong when my WM6 device stopped receiving https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/exchange/en-US/9f672aa4-a8be-4136-b64c-08066e5bb9ca/owa-2k7-404-error-stopped-working-suddenly?forum=exchangesvrclientslegacy mail. I then tried to log into OWA by going to: https://antigua.caribbean.local/owa Now all I get is a rewritten URL in the address bar: https://antigua.caribbean.local/owa/auth/logon.aspx?url=https://antigua.caribbean.local/owa&reason=0 and a "404 - File or Directory not found" error in the IE window. I've tried restarting the VM, checking to see if the file referenced above (logon.aspx) exists and it does. No errors show up in the error log. I've tried backing up and clearing the log files all to no avail. I can't find a whole lot about this in the KB. Any ideas? initially had an issue with CAS 2007 and Mailbox server roles not redirecting properly (returning internal URL to External requests) so it was suggested to move the CAS server role to a stand alone server. I did this and low and behold the redirection started working properly ...... or so I thought ...... not so fast there skippy When I access the following URL's this is the error that I get https://webmail.domain.ca/exchange I get a logon page enter in a user with a 2000 mailbox BINGO! I am in (this didn't work before) Now I test https://webmail.domain.ca/exchange I get a logon page enter in a user with a 2007 mailbox it redirects me to https://webmail.domain.ca/owa/exchange and I get a 404 error. Now my understanding is that this should redirect me to /owa and not /owa/exchange only. If I remove the /exchange on the end of the /owa no problem. Why is this re-directing me to /owa/exchange????? How do I fix this????? I have recreated all the virtual directories using the cmdlets on both servers even removed all virtual directories and the CAS server role and reinstalled the CAS server role and setup the virtual directories on the Mailbox server as required........ Still no luck. Now before I go spend a whole lot of money with Microsoft support and a whole lot of wait time on the phone I was hoping someone could give me some detailed information on how to concisely correct this issue?
