As many of you know, the Keychain can be a bit problematic when syncing with a Password Reset. Many of our Mac users will reset there AD password trough our Password reset site, which causes there Keychain password not to be synced with there AD credentials. Does authentication server could anyone have (or know of) methods to have a password reset option that will reset the password on the computer and sync it with the keychain? GeekBoy replied… Likes # 0 Posted 28 Sep 05 J.P.,I can get a ticket.Logged in to Test Mac as local admin. Managed to get a ticket for my network account.Tried the new account I created yesterday and it's a bit odd. If I type in the Full Name (Name) the Authentication errors saying "Client not found in kerberos database" but if I enter the short name it finds the client. When I created the new account I left the "Change Password on next login" ticked. When I try to create the Kerberos ticket I'm told the password has expired. When I try to change the password I get an error saying "Password incorrect" but I am sure that they are correct. ??
