Wait for replication to complete or force it… If this one did not work, recreate the GAL as Exchange uses the ShowInAddressBook attribute to authenticate clients. Solved OWA Access Denied/AD Error Posted on 2012-12-20 Exchange 1 Verified Solution 17 Comments 6,245 active directory Views Last Modified: 2013-01-03 As of lately I cannot link AD accounts to mailboxes. I get the below error: Access is denied. The Active Directory resource couldn't be accessed. This may be because the Active Directory object doesn't exist or the object has become corrupted, or because you don't have the correct permissions. I searched your forum and ran the active directory this test, but I am not sure what it is telling me. Is there anything else I can check. Anything odd on them set such as the Log On To... in AD having computers listed and not the Exchange server, or Outlook Web App access being denied on their account? Also, which version of Exchange? 0 Datil OP Ed Grauel Jul 1, 2013 at 6:31 UTC OWA can be enabled per-user in exchange; this is also the case with an SBS. What version are you running? 1 Poblano OP CGodbold Jul 1, 2013 at 6:33 UTC They may be users with admin rights? That would be my first look as I have see that with Exchange cause OWA not to function as expected. 0 Datil OP IRJ Jul 1, 2013 at 6:36 UTC Here are a few things to try: 1) Is OWA enabled on their mail accounts? You can check this in the Exchange Control Panel 2) Users have a bad habit of confusing passwords. Take one of the 7 accounts and reset it. Try to login wit it yourself 3) Look at the group membership of these accounts so if they differ in any way from the other accounts 4) Make sure they are using an up to date version of IE. Sometimes OWA doesnt work on older versions or other browsers. 2 Datil OP Ryan_B Jul 1, 2013 at 6:43 UTC Make sure they are logging in with "domain\username" like "mydomain\jsmith". 0 Ghost Chili OP RAM. Jul 1, 2013 at 6:43 UTC Under exchange management console. Go to the users properties and click the tab "mailbox features". One of the options is "Outlook Web Access", once thats enabled they'll have access. 1 Jalapeno OP Dave Bennett Jul 1, 2013 at 6:48 UTC Did any of those
