Your exchange can’t access AD. You should check setting of network (can you ping DC server?dns, add new firewall ?) Then please check your permission. Maybe network is well and dc administrator changes permission of account. Event 2114 This problem occurs because the Exchange security groups do no have the appropriate user rights to enable the Directory Service Access (DSAccess) component to communicate with Active Directory. You can fix it according to this article. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/919089 Event 1053 it shows network connectivity or configuration problem exists. You can fix it according to this article http://www.microsoft.com/technet/support/ee/transform.aspx?ProdName=Windows+Operating+System&ProdVer=5.2&EvtID=1053&EvtSrc=Userenv&LCID=1033 P

The site that the exchange server is in has two DCs, both are GCs and DNS servers. The exchange server uses them as its primary and seccondary DNS servers. I have full connectivity between all sites, I access active directory from the exchange server. Can anyone provide some trouble shooting tips please! thanks. When you check the services console you will find that the information store is in a stopped or in a hung starting state, additionally a number of other services are active directory stuck in a starting state including the Microsoft exchange transport service and the Microsoft exchange topology service. In Event viewer you see the following errors.Event ID 2142, 2077, 2069, the main ID is 2142. Log Name: Application Source: MSExchange ADAccess Date: Event ID: 2142 Task Category: Topology Level: Error Keywords: Classic User: N/A Computer: active directory topology allenserver.allendomain.com Description: Process MSEXCHANGEADTOPOLOGYSERVICE.EXE (PID=1756). Topology discovery failed, error 0x8007077f. The main clue here is the Event ID 2142 and Process MSEXCHANGEADTOPOLOGYSERVICE.EXE (PID=1756). Topology discovery failed, error 0x8007077f. IT Solution The issue you are seeing here is that your server cannot see active directory, if you have multiple sites you need to make sure that both sites have a sub net assigned to them so that the Exchange 201 or Exchange 2013 server can talk to DNS and DC`s on its subnet. Here we create a site for the Exchange server. Open Active Directory Sites and Services. Under sub net right click and select new sub net new subnet sites and services Once in there enter your sub net, you will then need to assign it to the relevant site. Once done, go to the services console and start the exchange services or you can reboot the server. You will find the exchange will now start fine.   Allen WhiteAll

The domain controller had a trust issue with Exchange, so we determined there was a corruption in the user account associated with the Exchange server. We disjoined and then rejoined the Exchange server, and it appears to be authenticating successfully now. The issue I need to resolve is to properly reconfigure the Exchange mail host. The Mdbdata directory is intact on another partition, but I have several error messages in the event logs associated with Exchange. These include: Event ID 1042 - Metabase Update failed to read the Configuration namespace property from the domain controller. Error code is 80040a01; Event ID 2114 - Process MAD.EXE (PID=3536). Topology Discovery failed, error 0x80040a02 & Process INETINFO.EXE (PID=1664). Topology Discovery failed, error 0x80040a02. ME Information Store service also fails to start.
