Go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and adobe flash player actionscript error 1063 Features\Installed Updates and click on kb3087916 and then click uninstall. Some people would say you need to boot windows in safe mode to do this. I would recommend you do this if it makes you feel safer, but this is the problem update - I haven't had the error since. Windows will keep trying to install this update until hell freezes over, so go into control panel/windows update and select the "Download updates but let me choose" option. Windows will not then automatically install updates that cause problems should then give you the option of unchecking the problem one. Regards, Shadow. Chosen solution If it does work in Firefox Safe-mode then disable all extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one extension at a time until the problem reappears. The last time it said the below (although the explanation lines seem to vary): An Adobe Flash Player Action Script error has occurred: Error #2044: Unhandled security Error: text=Error #2048: Security sandbox violation: http: adobe flash player [etc.] I have been shutting off Internet Explorer through the Task Manager rather than click on the "X" in the error message box. I thought maybe I had a virus, so I had Norton 360 do a full scan and all it found were cookies, which it fixed. Please tell me whatever this is, it is easy for me to fix and isn't some malware thing or something. Oh, and, of course, how to fix it, too, please. Thanks.
