dialog box from appearing up vote 2 down vote favorite 1 I need to disable flash from showing these error messages when an error occurs. I am completely aware of the error I'm receiving, and it does not cause my application from working correctly. I simply need to disable these messages. Is there a setting in flash or a flex compiler command or something? Go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features\Installed Updates and click on kb3087916 and http://www.eightforums.com/windows-updates-activation/69977-help-needed-re-adobe-flash-player-actionscript-error.html then click uninstall. Some people would say you need to boot windows in safe mode to do this. I would recommend you do this if it makes you feel safer, but this is the problem update - I haven't had the error since. Windows will keep trying to install this update until hell freezes over, so go into control panel/windows update and select the "Download updates but let me choose" option. Windows will not then automatically install updates that cause problems should then give you the option of unchecking the problem one. Regards, Shadow.
