Reply Latest reply on Apr 9, 2012 2:25 PM by chris.campbell How do I fix Windows permission problems with Flash Player? chris.campbell Sep 20, 2016 8:05 AM Not applicable to Windows 8 and above.Occasionally https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/common-problems-flash-player.html users can encounter the following scenarios:'Failed to register' or other permissions error during installation. After installing Flash Player, everything works correctly until you reboot your computer. After rebooting, web pages ask you to install Flash Player again. This cycle continues over and over.Flash Player works fine for administrator accounts, but Flash content is not available when logging in under a standard Windows account. We're working on addressing these issues with https://forums.adobe.com/thread/987370 our installers, but in the meantime these issues can be fixed using the following steps:Install Flash PlayerIf you cannot install Flash Player due to a permissions or 'failed to register' error proceed to step 2Download the SubInACL Installer from MicrosoftInstall SubInACL and note the install locationDownload the attached "reset_fp.zip" file and extract the reset_fp.bat file to the SubInACL folder created in the previous step.At this point, subinacl.exe and reset_fp.bat will be in the same folder. Please note that you might not see the file extensions unless you've made them visible. If you are on Vista or Windows 7, right click "reset_fp.bat" and select "Run as Administrator". If you are on XP, please make sure you are using an Administrator level account before double clicking. You'll see a window appear and text go by, this should only take a few seconds to complete.Restart your computerIf you were unable to install Flash Player in step 1, do so now.Restart your computer and verify that Flash is working correctly. reset_fp.zip 1.6 K 564159Views Categories: Installation, Windows Tags: none (add) fileContent tagged with file, flashContent tagged with flash, permissionsContent tagged with permissions, playerContent tagged with player, folderContent tagged with folder, rebootContent tagged with reboot, faqContent tagged with faq, registryContent ta

It is Adobe Flash adobe flash Player Action Script Error and it lists a bunch of errors and says at the bottom Dismiss all in one box and Continue in another box. I cannot just click the X to get rid of it and it stops me from doing whatever I am trying to do until I click dismiss all (which I do) and then it goes away for a while but pops up again later. I checked my adobe flash player version of Adobe Flash Player and I DO have the debugging version. It came automatically installed on my computer which is quite new. I would appreciate any detailed and easy to follow help that I can get. Thank you. Re: How to be rid of pop up Action Script Error? carltonw46657154 Aug 12, 2015 11:37 AM (in response to maureenf74235072) I am experiencing exactly the same problem in Adobe Flash Player in Internet Explorer 11, and my computer is also relatively new (bought three months ago). The problem only started in the last day or so. Could it be a problem with an Adobe Flash Player update? It seems more than coincidence that two users are having the same problem that started at the same time. If anyone can help with this, it would be greatly appreciated. Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 2.
