PM PDT by EinNYC Lately I keep getting this annoying message popping up at random times: Adobe Flash Player Update Service 11.3 r300 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. You then have a choice to click on "Debug", which makes the message box disappear but apparently does nothing else, "Report to Microsoft" or "Cancel". None of these 3 choices has resulted in making the error box go away forever. Neither has uninstalling Adobe Flash and then reinstalling it. Anyone know what to do with this annoying little thang? Thanks in advance. The solution, for right now, is to TURN OFF AUTOMATIC UPDATES. Here is how: "If anyone missed Chris's work-around solution, he said to right click on Flash Player in the Control Room. Open the program up and click on Advanced. Once in Advanced, to "uncheck" automatic updates and click on the "Notify me of updates" instead. To make be exact, Click on START, CONTROL PANEL, FLASH PLAYER... then do as he said. 6 posted on 07/20/2012 12:12:18 AM PDT by UCANSEE2 (Lame and ill-informed post) [ Post Reply | Private Reply | To 4 | View Replies] To: UCANSEE2 BTW, ‘Chris' meant CONTROL PANEL where he says ‘Control Room'.
