Adobe Flash Player Update Connection Error
previous version of flash player and am now trying to download the new version. Can anyone help me with a 'network error' I am getting during installation on internet explorer 8. There is no problem with the network as I am working on the internet with no other problems. According to IE8, it has a cipher speed of 128-bit. I have tried the following:- turning off adobe flash player install connection error anti-virus software- changing security settings as per a previous post- manually installing (could not download the file)- running the uninstall software even though no other version is showing on my list of applications - could not access the .exe file- using a different web browser. The problem was worse in the case of Opera and Firefox as the download did not start at all in those casesThis is very frustrating and does not seem to be a common problem. Can anyone help me? Re: Network error during flash player installation stev0z Jan 16, 2011 6:38 PM (in response to NKerr1) It sounds like something must be blocking it, maybe windows firewall? Or maybe permissions, try right clicking on IE and running it as administrator before installing the Flash player through IE.Should do the trick! Thanks,Steve Mullins[signature deleted by host] Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 2. I,m a bit agitated. Never had this type problem before? Help...Please.
 InOutEtc 0 0 1 post March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 I had this same issue earlier today. So annoying.Do this: Go to http://www.softwarepatch.com/internet/flash.html then download the .msi file they give you. Run that. It worked for me.If the page ever gets taken down, just google "install flash player" and look for another site. Hopefully there'll be one.(P.S.: I don't know what browser you're using, but for what it's worth I'm on IE 6.0.2900.)(P.P.S.: I didn't have any problems installing Flash on Firefox 1.0.7, which seems to have a better installation process and/or installer program.)(P.P.S.: Adobe's website suggests either downloading their executable installer (http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_19166) or using "SubInACL" from Microsoft to change the registry (http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=fb1634cb). But guess what? Their installer gave me an error and a reference back to the original webpage. As for the "SubInACL" solution, I didn't want to mess with my registry, especially for a solution that might not work.)Best of luck,InOutEtc
 Create an account or sign in to comment You need to b

All of sudden, it stopped recognizing the network. It keeps saying that it's unable to connect, but it can recognize T-mobile signals. It looks like the phone knows that there is a signal but is unable to connect to the network. Everything on this phone has worked very well other than this network problem. I can use WiFi perfectly, but I cannot make or receive calls. Would you please help me? Thank you so much.
