Chosen solution This from Halofromsue copied here: Okay like I said in my last post, Yesterday I disabled Shockwave in Plugins. However, as you all know, you need shockwave and flash for most things....so I went back and set it to say "ASK TO ACTIVATE" so when a web page loads and needs it, it will ask me and then I'll either say "yes" or "no" and that seems to be working. So far, after three hours it hasn't crashed and shockwave/flash all work fine when it needs it. From me: It works! It https://support.mozilla.org/questions/982093 is Adobe Flash Player Action Script Error and it lists a bunch of errors and says at the bottom Dismiss all in one box and Continue in another box. I cannot just click the X to get rid of it and it stops me from doing whatever I am trying to do until I click dismiss all (which I do) and then it goes away for a while but pops up https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1925215 again later. I checked my version of Adobe Flash Player and I DO have the debugging version. It came automatically installed on my computer which is quite new. I would appreciate any detailed and easy to follow help that I can get. Thank you. The problem only started in the last day or so. Could it be a problem with an Adobe Flash Player update? It seems more than coincidence that two users are having the same problem that started at the same time. If anyone can help with this, it would be greatly appreciated. Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 2. I'm using Windows 8.1 and IE11. Not very computer savvy. Yesterday I noticed that one of the Windows updates was for adobe Flash. Anyways, this morning I turned on PC and went to yahoo homepage and when clicking on different articles to read I would get this notification that says error # 2060 Action script error, Security sandbox Violation. Under that theres a list adobe flash of technical stuff I really don't understand. There was an option to dismiss all or continue if I'm remembering correctly. I have never seen this before. Was wondering if there was something wrong with yesterdays security update. I do have the latest version for Adobe and I have tried closing all tabs and rebooting to no effect. Any suggestions on how to get rid of this popup notice short of turning off adobe flash player the Flash? (did that before and kept getting notice on bottom of screen that Adobe Flash was off) I had to keep clicking on it to get rid of it. Minor pain in butt. Thanks Update: I noticed underneath my post there were a couple of sites listed that I could click on regarding error 2060. The one I was going to try was from wiki-err How to fix error 2060. TechUtilities.exe Download. This was for Windows7 and I have Windows 8.1. Am I correct in assuming this will not work for me? Also they wanted me to register with them. I'm not even sure what that means. Not sure what I would be getting myself into. Does anyone know if TechUtilities is a reputable site?
