Adobe Flash Player Popup Won't Go Away
Starter Joined: Jan 9, 2007 Messages: 61 i will give that a try...I was thinking that it might have soemthing to do with the name being changed from Macromedia Flash PLayer to Adobe Flash PLayer. Is my computer possibly looking for something called Macromedia when it should be looking for Adobe? rmklotz4, Jan 15, 2007 #5 bonk Banned Joined: Sep 8, 2005 Messages: 11,098 It's probably because that's a old screen saver and has not been updated to run in the new player. bonk, Jan 15, 2007 #6 rmklotz4 Thread Starter Joined: Jan 9, 2007 Messages: 61 it was actually a screensaver i downloaded from HBO.com...Entourage Screensaver. I uninstalled it and then reinstalled it from the web site...well see if that helps rmklotz4, Jan 15, 2007 #7 rmklotz4 Thread Starter Joined: Jan 9, 2007 Messages: 61 i think that did the trick...thanks bonk!!! rmklotz4, Jan 15, 2007 #8 lbroer Joined: May 11, 2007 Messages: 4 I did a system restore point to an earlier date and that took care of the problem. lbroer, May 11, 2007 #9 Phelyx Joined: May 9, 2007 Messages: 20 Yah when Adobe bought Macromedia they made a few quarky changes to the way Flash works that can cause a few conflicts. I'm certain the reinstall fixed your problem. Phelyx, May 11, 2007 #10 lbroer Joined: May 11, 2007 Messages: 4 Thanks, yes the restore change fixed the problem. lbroer, May 12, 2

Then once you have done that then follow my directions. Thats the only thing that I can think of that I did because I do not have the problem at all anymore. Tatts:beer; Nikki T
