If it works, go to the system folder to see if cabinet.dll is there. Let me know what happens. Wish I had another idea or suggestion, but the one that I posted above was straight from InstallShield, so I don't know what else to do to solve the issue. My video card is a PNY Nvidia GeForce 7600 GS (PCI Express) 512 MB DDR2. I've been trying an error most of a day to get Uru and PotS installed. The original Uru Install seemed to go fine, but when I played it self-rebooted the computer after about 5 minutes. Tried the patch and got the following error while it initialized the install: "Error (-5003:0x8004ace8) has occurred while running the setup. Please make sure you have finished any previous setup and closed an error 5003 other applications." Like this site, and others that I looked at, I uninstalled, closed down services, deleted files/folders that didn't uninstall, Selective Bootup, fresh install, but still get the error when running the setup for PotS. Other topics stated not to install the patch with PotS, so I went straight from Uru Install to PotS Install. Why am I getting this message, what does it mean besides the obvious, and most importantly, how do I get around it? Thanks for any help you can provide! 0 Back to top of the page up there ^ MultiQuote Reply #2 CAGrayWolf The Wolfmeister Group: Moderator Posts: 3,057 Joined: 24-January 03 Gender:Male Location:Riverside CA USA Posted 24 September 2007 - 01:37 PM I'm not positive ... but I think that is a memory access error. No suggestions on how to fix this though. 0 Back to top of the page up there ^ MultiQuote Reply Forum Home News |-- Staff Announcements |-- Community News |-- Myst Headlines |-- Myst & Uru Blogs Community Discussion |-- The Blah Place |-- The Book of F'ni |---- The Bo
