Kerrie Moore Voted Best Answer Edit Answer (for another -25 minute) This could be the result of a corrupt image in the PDF file. I would try to figure out which page it is (in case of a multi

page document), and then try to eliminate one image at a time until the culprit is found. Once you know what image is causing the problem, you may be able to e.g. to save the image in a different format (e.g. use TIFF instead of JPEG) to see if that makes a difference. How did you compress the file in Acrobat? You can use the "File>Save as Other>Save as Optimized PDF" and then play around with the image compression settings to see if you can find a setting that does not give you this error. Sometimes, when openning these files with Adobe Acrobat Reader I get the famous error message: "An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person who created the PDF http://stackoverflow.com/questions/18812789/debugging-pdf-for-error document to correct the problem." The error shows while reading (with Adobe) the attached file only when scrolling down to the 8'th page, then scrolling back up to 3'td page. Alternatively, Zooming out to 33.3% will also produce the message. Just for the record, Foxit reader reads the file flawlessly, as well as other PDF readers like browsers. My questions are: What's wrong with my file?? (file is attached) How can I find what's wrong with it? is there a tool which tells you where does the error lie? Acrobat may not display..." Hello everybody. I'm experiencing some really weird issue with pdf files generated by Report Designer 5.01-stable. Several templates will display "An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person hwo created the PDF document to correct the problem." when opening them with Adobe Acrobat Reader. The warning is displayed either when opening the pdf or after the print command is given. My version of AAR is 11.0. What's even weirder, is this error is shown even on sample reports provided with PRD (I tried the Steel Wheels report, the message displays after print request by Acrobat Reader). I honestly can't put my finger where the problem comes from. Although the appearance itself is as intended, I need to avoid error messages showing up on these reports. Can anybody please help me on this? I've been googling around for almost two days without finding an answer. Thanks in advance for any reply.
