I'm getting the following message when loading screen file synsoacc.dll could not be located in the windows system folders hangs on "Gathering info for Vienna Instruments x64":"An error has been signaled by the Protected Object Server:File SYNSOACC.DLL could not be located in the Windows system folder."A quick file search finds a synsoacc.dll in the windows folder in both 32 bit and 64 bit folders. Not sure why elicenser doesn't want to see it. I have downloaded the latest drivers on the eLicenser website (dated Nov 4 2013) and run all maintenance checks. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Viewing topic "Cubase won't launch to get to VYCRO editor setup" Posted on: May 06, 2013 @ 07:17 PM mr5x5 Total Posts: 37 Joined 05-03-2013 status: Regular Man I thought this was gonna be easy… Not sure if I am OK or not. There seems to be a whole lot of steps required to properly get VYCRO https://vsl.co.at/community/posts/t35969-SOLVED--eLicensor-Error up and running on my Windows XP Dell desktop. 1.Need to install Cubase driver 2.Need to install Remote tools (MX49/MX61 Remote Editor and MX49/MX61 Extension) 3.Need to install MX49MX61 Voicelist But I'm stuck after #2. The Remote Editor instructions says I must launch DAW software at least once "This operation is necessary to scan through the DAW software so that the MX49/MX61 Remote Editor obtains the VST Instruments related information" http://www.motifator.com/index.php/forum/viewthread/467637/ so I installed the Cubase software included. But when I try to launch Cubase I get this message: eLicenser POS Error message An error has been signaled by the Protected Object Server. File SYNSOACC.DLL could not be located in the Windows System Folders Is this a problem? I really don't have any interest in using Cubase right now. Out of curiosity I launched the VYCRO editor anyway and it seems to be talking properly to the MX49 via USB. I hear parameters changing and I seem to have access to all the voices, performances, etc. Any idea what's happening? Any specific test for VYCRO to determine if it's running right? Sorry for the long post.
